Hadley Dion is a writer and filmmaker from Los Angeles, California.

Hadley holds a BFA in Film Production, specializing in sound design, from Chapman University. Following her graduation, she dedicated five years to working as an audio editor and producer for The Mortified Podcast (produced in partnership with Radiotopia and PRX.) She also worked with the Mortified team to produce and sound design their educational show for pre-teens, Ooh You’re In Trouble.

Hadley's creative endeavors extend beyond podcasting. She co-created, co-wrote, and co-directed the ten-episode web series "I Would Have Kissed You," which is now available on Twisted Mirror TV. This series received recognition for its excellence, winning Best Dramedy Script at the British Web Awards in 2020, as well as the Best Humor award at the Top Indie Film Awards in the same year. The writing and performances in "I Would Have Kissed You" garnered additional nominations.

Currently, Hadley is engaged in her latest project, "Visiting Birdie," a short film that marks her first co-directing collaboration with her mother, Deborah Maxwell Dion. This film is currently in post-production.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Hadley dedicates her time to volunteering at Sante D'Or animal rescue on a weekly basis. Additionally, she makes punch needle rugs under the name Sucker Punch Rugs. Hadley's talent extends to the realm of poetry as well, with over 30 of her poems published or forthcoming in various publications.
